In the afternoon of June 4th, 2016, the volunteering group of Horn Company came to Long Gang Orphanage to hold an aiding activity which aimed to help and care for the handicapped children. At 1:30 pm, our group members brought gifts to these children with warm hearts, and they were shocked to find that so many children’s fate had been choked: they were physically, intellectually, mentally or multi-disabled…. Their miserable situation made everyone feel that, the happiest thing in the world is to live healthy, and we should be grateful. Some of us made bed for children, chatted with them, and play with them, hug and shake hands with them. Each of us tried to satisfy their needs and bring them happy and mildness. They smiled brightly when so many people cared for them. We are very grateful to the love from every colleague, you have not only warmed those children, but also our hearts. We are all impressed by the activity and shared thoughts with each other and we decide to pass on love to others.

Horn Audio exhibits at CES2012 to feature our new products and ODM/OEM service.

Additional production facility opens in Jiangxi Province as Nanchang Haozhun Electronics Co., Ltd. Haozhun’s 33,300 square meter factory houses advanced SMT equipment and automatic production lines. Haozhun Electronics receives ISO90001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certificates.

Land purchased for future corporate headquarters in Pingshan, Shenzhen.

Shenzhen Horn Audio Co., Ltd. acquired the status of “National High-tech Enterprise” (Certificate No. GR200844200158 ) from the Shenzhen Technology and Information Bureau, Shenzhen Finance Bureau, Shenzhen National Tax Bureau together with Shenzhen Local Tax Bureau. Company name changed to Shenzhen Horn Audio Co., Ltd. from Shenzhen Horn Electroacoustic Technology Co., Ltd.

Horn honored as one of Shenzhen’s Top 100 Private Enterprises. Horn honored as a Chinese “Top 100 Electronic Component Enterprise”. Company president Catherine Wang received “The Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons” award from Bao’an District in Shenzhen. USA branch office established in San Diego, CA.

President Catherine Wang takes part in “Pedaling Across Europe” bicycle trip in support of Shenzhen’s application to host the Universidad games of 2011. Her efforts aided in Shenzhen’s ultimate selection as the host city of these games. Acquired the status of Shenzhen Top Hundred Innovative Corporation of Small and Medium Enterprises. Company recognized as “2006 Outstanding Corporation of Shenzhen Electronic Industry”. President Catherine Wang elected Commissioner of the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee of Shenzhen by the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court. First HORN Patent awarded.

Speaker factory and audio factory moved to new location as part of the diversification of our audio business. Professor James E. West, co-inventor of the modern electret microphone and technology consultant to HORN visited our factory. He was warmly welcomed by Shenzhen government leaders and then gave informative lectures at HORN, Tongji University and Institute of Acoustics and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. HORN attended and was a sponsor of The Twelfth International Symposium on Electrets (ISE12), becoming the first Chinese sponsor of the event. HORN 2nd Technology Convention held. President Catherine Wang stressed that we should devote ourselves to research, quality and customer service in order to continue to establish our company as a world leader in our field. Semi-automatic production line implemented. Received “The Technology Improvement Medal” from the Shenzhen Promotion Association for Small and Medium Enterprises. Speaker factory opened.

Acquired the status of “Good Faith Enterprise” from the Shenzhen Credit Assurance Center for Small and Medium Enterprises; “Six Sigma” implemented (procedures up-dated, cost reduction program instituted, renewed emphasis on customer satisfaction). Company president Catherine Wang recognized as one of the “China Top One Hundred Entrepreneurs” by The China Female Enterprisers Association. Molding factory opened. Acquired ISO9001, ISO14000 and OHSAS18000 certifications.

New facility in Tongfuyu Industrial Park opened. HORN attended The Eleventh International Symposium on Electrets (ISE11) as the sole electro-acoustic representative from China. Became a member of the association of Shenzhen High-Tech Enterprises.
